Herbert ‘Ketch’ Pollack

Herbert's friends call him Ketch and he is the manager of Covid Preserves (my series of sardine can art). He, like many of us over the past couple of years, has stockpiled food. Over concern that he might not always be able to find what he wants due to shortages in stock, Herbert has accumulated quite a fine collection. And from time to time he opens up his specially preserved fish cans and releases them into the world.

Herbert is adorned with Czech and Japanese glass beads, rhinestone chain, glass buttons, vintage rhinestones and shells.
